COMBAT BOOTS OF LIGHT
AND THE SWORD OF THE WORD OF SHALOM
“I’m raising up an army on the earth. I’m awakening a Holy regiment of warriors of Light. I’m empowering My people; I’m shodding (equipping) their feet with the gospel of peace.”
“I’m raising up an army of SHALOM WARRIORS, empowering their feet with spiritual combat boots, and giving them the power to crush their enemy, not because they've done everything right, but because I did everything right.
And now I come to YOU today to equip you for the war ahead. I’m bringing you into the victory I purchased with My blood.
I need you to see what I have already decreed for your life and your family. Don’t limit Me with your thinking. I need you to dream My dream. I’ve come to tell you to submit your dream to My dream, because your dream isn’t big enough. I’m bringing you into a place of holy convergence today, says the Lord. If you will allow Me, I’m equipping you for war.
I’m shodding your feet with the gospel of peace, and you’re going to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). I’m giving you a sword; it’s the word of My Mouth, says the LORD. I AM giving you the ability to strike down your enemy and to declare, ‘Thus far and no more, you will not trespass upon my family. You will not trespass upon my home. You will not trespass upon my physical body, nor my mind, will, or emotions.’”
Ephesians 6:15 And having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace.
Romans 16:20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.
Some of you reading this are so tired. You have no energy to rise and fight, so I (Ed Watts) have come to join you in the midst of your battle. The enemy of your destiny has come against you with a demonic storm. But I wield the sword of the Word of the Lord over you now and issue the enemy a cease-and-desist order from the court of the LORD!
I wield the sword of the Word of the Lord and cut the enemy off from someone today. Who am I speaking to today?
I say, darkness, you have trespassed against the Lord's precious little ones, and you shall release them right now. I break the power of every satanic assignment over you, your family, your children, and your sphere of God-ordained stewardship.
By the finished work of the cross, I say that the blood of the Lamb rebukes every foul, unclean spirit. I break every hex, every vex, and every bit of voodoo and satanic incantation. I break all witchcraft and sorcery over you by the power of the blood and the mighty name of Jesus. I declare that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that every enemy and foul, unclean spirit must let you go and all those you represent.
SHALOM, THE CHAOS DESTROYER
Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.
We must understand that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but they’re divinely empowered by God for the destruction of satanic fortresses (2Cor.10:3-5). One of the most powerful pieces of armor given to us is our feet, and the Lord, in Ephesians 6:15, speaks of shodding our feet with the gospel of Shalom.
Shalom is one of my favorite word studies in the Bible. In Hebrew, Shalom is far different from the English word peace, which we often depict as the absence of war or conflict. Shalom is made up of four Hebrew letters that speak a powerful prophetic truth. I have included the four Hebrew letters in one of the posted images. Shalom literally means to devour the authority attached to chaos; it means the chaos destroyer. The LORD is raising up sons of Shalom, the true peacemakers who are the manifested sons of God.
Mark 4:39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
When Jesus stood up in the midst of a demonic, raging storm and said, “Peace, be still,” he was not making a peace agreement with the enemy. Study this. This storm came suddenly out of nowhere. Like many storms in our lives, it wasn't a natural one, it was a satanic storm. It was a storm of demonic chaos, with demons trying to kill his disciples.
Jesus is called the Prince of Peace, or the Prince of Shalom. He’s the true Son of God who destroys all chaos. The Lord isn’t just equipping your feet to crush the author of chaos; He’s also putting a word of Shalom in your mouth to silence demonic, raging storms.
Ephesians 6:10–13 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil… Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand firm therefore.
ARISE, MIGHTY ONE
As we watch over these 90 days, remember Jeremiah 1:11. Jeremiah, what do you see? The Lord is going to open your eyes to see where the enemy is trespassing, and He is going to give you spiritual authority to destroy every trespassing spirit through the rod of His mouth, the word of Shalom.
So arise, mighty one, this day, and go to war for the glory of the Lord to be fully manifested in your bloodline and family tree, in Jesus’ name.
DECLARATION
I declare that my feet are shod with the gospel of peace and that every step I take carries the authority of Shalom into whatever chaos the enemy has stirred up in my life, my family, and my bloodline, because the God of peace has already promised to crush Satan under my feet shortly. I take up the sword of the Word of the Lord, the sword He purchased with His own blood, not with anything I earned, and I issue the enemy the same cease-and-desist order from the court of heaven that has already been spoken over me. I declare that every hex, every vex, and every assignment of witchcraft and sorcery is broken off my family and my family tree, and that the gospel of peace, not the counterfeit peace of this world, is the ground on which I now take my stand.
PRAYER
Father, thank You for shodding my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace and for giving me a sword that is not carnal but divinely empowered to pull down every fortress the enemy has built in my bloodline. Teach me the difference between the world's peace, merely the absence of conflict, and Your Shalom, which devours the authority that chaos claims.
When a demonic storm is raging in my life or in the life of someone I love, let me stand as Jesus stood in that boat and speak Your word of Shalom until the power of Hell is broken. Equip me with the whole armor of God so that, having done all, I am found standing. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
